South Carolina May be McCain's...

The South Carolina primary is a few days away, and things are looking good for John. He is leading in the RCP average. He has had a number of major newspaper endorsements there, including the leading paper in the State. The Rock Hill Herald and Charleston Post and Courier have also endorsed John McCain.

This is capped by the fact that Mitt Romney, who just won the Michigan primary, is ending his campaigning in South Carolina and instead focusing on the much less contested, and ultimately less important, Nevada Caucuses. The reason why? Romney internal polls seem to indicate that South Carolina may be John McCain's.
